Museum of Science and Arts, Guatemala City

For my final year presentation I designed an Arts Museum designed to a specific location on campus. The work involved measuring the site, and designing within existing limitations of the site’s topography, roads, green space and other buildings. The design features a corridor that connects the two main buildings, covered with large glass canopy, allowing natural light to flood the centre of the interior space. Another feature of the design is a striking pavement design on the approach to the main entrance.

Area = 22,230 sqm per floor.
